Level 9 states.

Let the New Hampshire State meets begin!!  The Level 9 ladies get to start us off.
Rita passes along the following information from the state meet..
  They had a 4 judge panel (like they do at Regionals) for every event but only had 8 judges.  So at most 3 events ran at a time but it seemed mostly like just 1 event at a time.  So that combined with a each judge having to figure out the start value and then the score and then average them or toss the high and the low and then average the remainder.....  Well let's just say it took way too long!!
Actually most importantly both girls qualified to the regional meet!

   Let's give a big OTW salute to our 1st- 3rd place Level 9 Podium girls of the State meet!

Level 7 Sectional meet at Phantom

The Level 7 girls had a sectional meet at Phantom gymnastics.

Starlight Invitational at MIT in Boston.

Here we are, St. Patrick's Day week-end gearing up to make a trip to MIT and the Starlight Invitational Meet.

Level 9-  Jackie earned a 1st place on beam and a 3rd place on Bars and All around.
Level 4-  Rya earned a 1st place on floor and All around and a 2nd on Bars.  Morgan earned a 1st place on bars and a 3rd on vault.  Sarah earned a 3rd on Bars. 
Level 6-  Rachel earned a 1st place on floor.  Sarah earned a 1st place on bars a 2nd place All around and a 3rd place on Floor. Alexi earned a 2nd place on bars and a 3rd place on beam.
Level 5-   Lilly earned a 3rd place on floor. Olivia earned a 3rd place on Vault and floor.

The Level 7 girls started off the group Friday afternoon.

The Level 4's and 6's showed up Sunday afternoon to compete together.
Seemed like some tough judging, warming us up for states I am sure.

It was great to see all the level 4 girls post at least one personal best score on the season.
In the senior Division Morgan, Rya and Sarah stood 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.  What a pretty sight for all the OTW fans! Congrats to the Level 4 team for taking home a 2nd place team trophy to add to the bling in the lobby.

Ocean State Classic, Come on Jackpot!

AHH the first week of March finds our fearless gymnasts heading to Rhode Island for the Ocean State Classic meet held at Twin Rivers Casino.  I wonder hoe many parents will accidentally on purpose wander in to try their luck gambling?

Level 9- Jackie Hult earned a 2nd place on bars and beam and a 3rd place AA.
Level 4- (level 4's were not given event awards but should be recognized IMO) Grace earned a 3rd place on bars and Brooklyn earned a 1st place on bars.
Level 5- Hannah E earned a 1st place on bars and a 3rd place in and AA.  Alana earned a 2nd place on bars. and Lilly earned a 1st place on beam,  floor and AA, a 2nd place on Vault and a 3rd place on bars.
Level 6- Sarah earned a 1st place on bars, beam and All around. Rachel earned a 2nd place on bars and a 3rd place on Beam, floor, and AA.  Alexi earned a 3rd place on bars.

Also a big shout out to the Level 5 girls who brought home a 9 place team trophy and the Level 6 girls who brought home a 6th place team trophy to add to our pretty collection in the lobby.

The Level 9's had the pleasure of starting out the meet on Friday night.  way to keep posting personal best scores ladies, keep up the great work.
