Cape Cod Classic, ending 2012 with a trip to the Cape.

        Let's give a big OTW salute to our 1st- 3rd place Podium girls of the meet!

Level 4- Grace earned a 1st on bars, beam & a 3rd on vault and All Around .  Rya earned a 1st on vault and 3rd on bars.

Level 5- Alana earned a 3rd on bars.  Lilly earned a 1st on vault and bars, a 2nd on floor and All Around, and 3rd on beam.  Olivia earned a 3rd on bars floor and All Around.

Level 6- Sarah earned a 1st on bars a 2nd on vault, floor and All Around & a 3rd on beam.  Alexi earned a 2nd on bars and beam, and a 3rd in All Around.
Level 9- Jackie earned a 3rd on Floor.

The level 4's were the first group to kick off the Cape Cod Classic.    They were lucky to miss the weather that moved in later during the week-end.
The girls pulled together some solid team scores and brought home a 2nd place team banner to hang in the gym. (It is my understanding that only the 4's and 5's had enough team members to be in the running for team awards this meet, as level 5 and above used 4 scores instead of 3 to determine team scores.  )

The Judges Have spoken

Brentwood hosted the judges cup December 7-9 with a warm luau theme, bring on the flower leis and hula skirts!   Always nice to have a meet close to home.

Level 4- Rya earned a 1st on bars and All Around, a 2nd on beam and a 3rd on floor.  Grace earned a 1st on bars, a 2nd on vault and a 3rd on All Around.  Morgan earned a 2nd on vault.  Zoe earned a 2nd on vault.

Level 5- Hannah E earned a 1st on bars.

Level 6- Sarah earned a 3rd on bars.

Level 7- Jordan earned a 1st on bars and a 2nd on vault and All Around.

Level 9- Jackie earned a 1st on bars, a 2nd on beam, and 3rd in All Around. Nicole earned a 3rd on beam.

Level 4's had to split up Sunday morning.
The first session with Hannah, Sarah, Morgan and Rya had TOUGH Beam judge, I guess that is how they roll at Sectionals!  The level 4's managed to sneak home a 6th place team trophy, new bling for the Lobby!
All level 4 girls qualified for states.  Great job to all the level 4 ladies.

Level 5's had a tough meet, with more tough judging.  Word is that all the girls were all real troopers, and happily added a 7th place team trophy to the lobby, WOOT!  Way to make OTW proud with your great attitudes!

Here is an update from NH Judges Cup. Judging for level 9 is sooo harsh! It's going to be a very long season!! They don't have sectionals for level 9s because there are so few of them but they have to score a 32 during the season to qualify for the state meet. So the good news is Nicole and Jackie are now qualified!
